Munts Associates was established to help fill a gap in leadership and consulting practice, inspired by these questions:
Why were employees and their work completely disconnected from the best intentions of the company’s leadership and strategy?
Why were companies making huge investments in people, process and technology initiatives that would eventually fall short or completely fail when broader organizational forces took over?
How could we raise consultant accountability and value in achieving outcomes (vs. just initial strategic direction).
With that, Andrew became both student and thought leader in developing clear strategic direction to align and engage the full energies of the organization and deliver exceptional outcomes, all the while reinventing the client-consultant partnership.
Andrew has more than 30 years’ experience facilitating strategy, organization and leadership development for a wide variety of organizations with a focus in the health, technology and services sectors. His change leadership abilities are enhanced by early career experience in management and business development, and are characterized by his innovative applications of individual and group behavior principles and extensive experience in organizational design and process management.
Before founding Munts Associates, Andrew was with Mercer Delta Consulting, where he focused on strategic organizational change, working with senior executives in Fortune 500 companies. Prior to that, he held a variety of consulting and sales management roles at Shared Medical Systems, including Practice Manager of the Strategic Services Group and National Sales Manager for the Decision Support Division. Andrew began his career in financial modeling and forecasting, where he served as the Mid-Atlantic Computer Services Manager for Amherst Associates.
Andrew works with business leaders, senior executives and their teams, providing consultation and facilitative leadership in support of a wide range of complex change initiatives such as:
Full-cycle strategic planning, organizational design and engagement
Merger and acquisition organizational due diligence and integration
Transformational change initiatives at global enterprise and divisional levels: culture, quality, customer focus, sales performance, etc.
Reengineering intra- and inter-company service chains
Developing strategy-enabling core organizational capabilities
These projects are generally complemented with executive/leadership team development, leadership system and governance implementation, and succession planning.
Andrew holds an MA with honors in Applied Psychology from the University of Santa Monica and a BA with honors in Economics from Brown University. He also received a Masters in Spiritual Sciences from the Peace Theological Seminary & College of Philosophy and certificate degrees in French Studies from the Université de Grenoble.
As determined by the needs of our client engagements, we engage or refer associates from a number of specialty firms. We prefer this model as it keeps our overhead low and our client value experience exceptionally high.
